The room at Hotel Chavanel was like a cozy little nest! It had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I loved the comfy bed and the soft lighting which created a relaxing ambiance after a long day of exploring the city.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but that's just my opinion. Others might appreciate the compactness and find it charming.

Title: Excellent. Outstanding Service. Great Location
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to provide more assistance in carrying luggage. Other than that, my stay at Hotel Chavanel was truly delightful.

Perfect position. Cute interior. Got robes and slippers. windows come off the road, it was pretty quiet and didn't interfere with sleep. There's a kettle, cups, tea and coffee in the room. I'd like to separately mention the receptionist who literally saved our stay in this hotel. Unfortunately, they didn't ask for his name. On the first day a big problem with the shower cabin was found - the drain did not work, water poured out on the floor of the bathroom and leaked on the carpet in the room. It was evening, I called the reception desk and explained the problem and asked them to either replace the room or somehow resolve the issue. receptionist said that there was nobody but him and that the plumber could only come in the morning. It did not suit me, because I still wanted to take a shower after my arrival. Then he came to our room himself and simply cleaned the drain with his own hands. Judging by what he'd gotten out of there, plum hadn't been cleaned in at least a month. He cleaned everything, brought us some more towels and a new pair of slippers, because everything we had gotten soaked from the flood. Beautiful man, we're very grateful to him. He just saved the reputation of the hotel and our vacation that night.
A clogged drain in the shower cubicle. Separate bathroom - as it turns out, this is not very comfortable. Instead of tea spoons there were long plastic sticks, perhaps it is an original idea, but very impractical.

friendly staff. Although we understand French well, they spoke to us in Spanish. We were moved to a higher room even though it was the first time we went to this hotel. hotel, with the old name of Hotel Tronchet (name of the street where it is located) appears in La Novela de Sonsoles Onega, Despues del Amor, winner of the Fernando Lara Prize in 2. 018. We commented it in the hotel. They explained to us that a few years ago it had been renovated by the son of the previous owner (the number of Room 16 mentioned in the book is not kept). decoration has changed and has been modernized (I don't usually like this change) but conserving ONE touch of elegance mixed with ONE original style. burn details the WC separated from the bathroom and with a door that closes well. Breakfast with few products but good quality. Te Serviat Cafe espresso prepared at the moment in the breakfast (good detail). location is very good, near the Place de la Madeleine and Opera. You can walk to many places. To the Louvre in 25 minutes. Subway nearby.

Our group of friends, who are avid trekkers, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Henri and Enikő for their assistance and recommendations. The breakfast spread was exceptional and a must-try. Despite being located on a busy street, the rooms were surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city and accessing public transportation.
We felt incredibly well taken care of during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble.

We were positively surprised with the sympathy and multilingual service (everyone was able to speak english and french, at least). The location of the hotel was excelent, we could walk to the most important monuments (Louvre, Triumph Arc, Champs Elisee, Eiffel Tower), and subway stations were at the same sidewalk.
The area of the bedroom and bathroom was very small.

The hotel was very located in Paris, near the shopping centers and the Madeleine metro station, it was easy to go everywhere. The room was small but not as small as in some other hotels in Paris. It was also very clean and it felt quite new.
Some of the hotel staff were a bit rude when we were complaining about the wrong information they gave to us. Other wise the staff was nice and helpfull.

We had a fantastic stay at this place in a great area of Paris! The location was perfect, with the center and shopping malls close by, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and excellent soundproofing to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast spread was simply amazing and a must-try during your stay.
We highly recommend this venue to family and friends, as it offers top-notch service, a convenient location, and a comfortable and luxurious experience.

Centrally located near the shops of the Grands Boulevards and the Opera, this hotel is close to everything. Hop on hop off's 1st stop is just around the corner. The well-designed rooms are small but clean and nicely updated. The breakfast is a great start to the day, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers WiFi and a lift, and some rooms have a view of the city.
The hotel charges extra per night for infants, which can be a disappointment for families with young children.

The Hotel Chavanel was a delightful place to stay during my visit to Paris. The decoration of the hotel is beautiful, with elegant touches and a refined ambiance that exudes classic French style. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the choice of haute couture textiles and noble materials throughout the hotel. The general areas were cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with well-lit corridors and conveniently located amenities.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the children working at the hotel to be a little more patient and understanding. Sometimes, when asking for assistance or information, it felt as though they were overwhelmed or rushed in their response.
